Shielded with 5 mm Pb or 20 mm Pb
The device is used for transporting syringe containing radioactive solutions manually. Its purpose is to reduce the risk of exposure and contamination of employees handling radioactive solutions. The device provides a safe and simple method of handling for a syringe containing radioactive solution.
It allows transporting the syringe with the plunger fully drawn and the needle on, even with the protective sheath on, or with a stopper. The syringe may be fitted in the light 1.5 mm Pb shield cover serving as the primary shield.
