Mobile Administering Table

A mobile table for medical materials with an integrated shielded container for contaminated waste.

The table is intended for placing common medical materials on the table top and shelf, and for putting used materials contaminated with ionising radiation into a shielded container and transporting them.

It reduces the risk of radiation exposure and contamination when handling radioactive materials. Two wheels with brakes stop the table reliably at the selected location.

The shielded container takes a plastic waste container with a diameter of 155 mm and a height of 300 mm. The raised edges of the table top capture accidentally spilled liquids and reduce the risk of objects falling to the floor.

Main components

• Frame – stainless steel structure made of square profiles with freely rotating wheels in the legs, two of them with brakes
• Table top with waste container – stainless steel surface with raised edges and an integrated shielded waste container; container and lid shielding 5 mm or 20 mm Pb
• Shelf – stainless steel sheet with bent edges
• Rotating lid – steel lid with yellow baked epoxy coating, 20 mm circular lead shielding inside the lid or a solid lid (5 mm Pb equivalent), with a handle
