Mobile table with shielded waste container

For placing shielded containers and medical materials, setting aside contaminated materials into a shielded waste container and transporting them within the department.

Two wheels with a total lock stop the table reliably at the selected location. The table can be moved close to the patient’s bed and its top can be positioned over the bed.

The raised edges of the table top capture accidentally spilled liquids and reduce the risk of objects falling. The shielded container takes a plastic waste insert with a diameter of 155 mm and a height of 300 mm.

Main components

• Frame – stainless steel structure with two freely rotating wheels and two wheels with a total lock
• Table top with shielded waste container – stainless steel tray with a welded container cover; the container has 20 mm Pb shielding and a removable stainless steel inner shell for easy cleaning
• Rotating lid – steel lid with yellow baked epoxy coating, 20 mm circular lead shielding inside the lid, with a handle
• Shielding screen – 20 mm lead panel in a stainless steel casing, with a stainless steel tube holder facing the operator at a suitable height
