Safe and simple manual carrying of syringes filled with radioactive solution.
The container limits the risk of radiation exposure and contamination of staff handling radioactive solutions.
Fully filled syringes with caps applied can be carried. The syringes may be in any shielding cover used for direct handling, e.g. during administration.
This version holds four 2 ml syringes. Derived versions are available for 5 ml syringes, for a combination of 2 ml and 5 ml syringes, or for syringes with needles attached.
Main components
- Bottom part – 5 mm Pb shield with stainless steel outer cover and a large folding handle, secured against swinging in the working position
- Insert – replaceable plastic insert with a 5 mm lead sheet cover and several syringe positions
- Lid – 5 mm Pb shield with stainless steel outer cover and a solid grip
