Three types for different vial sizes
PT318
Portable tungsten shield for safe and simple handling of a vial with a radioactive solution.
The container reduces the risk of exposure and contamination of staff handling radioactive solutions. It fits the Automatic Dispensing Units PT317R7 and PT459R5 and forms the inner part of the Type A packaging set PT314R2 – the vial does not have to be handled unshielded.
Design
- Container base – tungsten shielding with stainless steel carrying handles
- Lid – tungsten shielding with a handle; a screw lock seals the inner space of the container
- Well – the vial is inserted freely into the container well

All types have the same outer dimensions and differ only in the size of the vial well. PT318R6 has a plastic insert and is intended for 177Lu.
